Am considering the purchase of a 3 point hitch backhoe to be used on a Ford 4630. Should I install a subframe to mount this backhoe, and if I do will I be able to use other 3 point hitch attachments without removing the subframe?

Depends where the subframe is attached at the back, for instance, to the drawbar area (where it could impede how high you could raise a mid-mount mower), vs to the axle, but it shouldn't interfere with the hitch. If you don't get the biggest hoe that it will carry, and you use it fairly gently, you could reasonably risk attaching it to the hitch. A front loader helps the balance. ....

Ford 4630 is pretty heavy, so it should handle a 3-point backhoe. Some tractors need a special bracket to make the top link attachment rigid. I think the 4630 has draft control and I've run a backhoe that bounced because the top link moved. You may want to consider a major brand like Woods that should have all the stuff you need. ....
